Unseen reflects the parts of myself that exist beneath the surface. The layers, marks, and movement represent the noise of the outer world—expectations, emotions, and experiences that often lead us to hide behind appearances, especially when we feel broken.
When the lights go down, a face slowly appears, glowing in the dark. This reveal is intentional. It speaks to the self that remains present and whole behind the multiple layers, even in a fragmented and not-so-“pretty” state of being.
This work honors the beauty of seeing our true selves—our gifts, our talents, and the quiet importance of remembering what we were created to accomplish in this lifetime.
