Chloe Mae Studios invites artists of all ages and at every stage of their practice to participate in SMALL WORKS OPEN SHOW 2026, presented in partnership with the Visual Arts League of Allen (VALA).
SMALL WORKS grows from a shared commitment to support local artists, foster creativity, and bring people together through art. By removing the jury for entry, artists at different ages, stages, and points in their creative lives can share the same gallery walls. Young artists, students, emerging artists, lifelong makers, and established professionals are invited to exhibit side by side, creating a snapshot of the creative community around us.
A selection panel from the Visual Arts League of Allen will review the exhibited artwork and select five Outstanding Artist Award recipients, each of whom will be invited to participate in a 5-person group exhibition at Chloe Mae Studios in 2027!

1–3 works per artist • $15 per entry
Maximum size: 12 × 12 × 12 inches, including frame
All media • Open theme • All ages
Artwork for sale: $200 maximum • NFS (Not for Sale) welcome
Registration opens: Friday, September 18
Registration closes: Friday, October 16
Drop-Off: Sunday, October 18 • 12–3 PM
Opening Reception & Awards Announcement: Saturday, November 7 • 6–8 PM
Exhibition: November 7, 2026–January 30, 2027
