The Weight of Color

$3,500.00

This work holds the weight of abuse and isolation—carried quietly, long before I had language for it. What appears soft on the surface is under pressure. Innocence and survival exist side by side, uneasy and unresolved.

The blues and whites sit in tension, while scraped layers of purple, yellow, and ash break through like buried truths. These colors carry grief, fear, love, and resilience all at once. The surface is fractured on purpose. Nothing here is clean. Nothing is meant to rest.

This piece is physically heavy by intention. Every layer was added, pushed, scraped, and left to remain. Nothing was held back—everything was unpacked here. The marks are restless, the weight undeniable. Color became the only way to release what was forced into silence.

This is the weight of color.
