EVAN DOZIER

Evan’s artistic process, shaped by embracing the present and responding to current energies, intricately weaves together a nuanced journey of recollection, reflection, and being still.

His work explores the fallibility of memory while celebrating the art of being fully present in the moment. Amidst this, he skillfully navigates perceptions and distortions, revealing the distance between reality and the subjective nature of our experiences.

Evan’s grandmother taught him the importance of finding a brave conviction in holding true to a moment. This is the inspiration for his work. He embraces the energy of a mark as it relates to our want to find something genuine.

His true talent lies in his ability to find a meaningful message in others work with an impressive eye for finding heart in a work of art. Evan is Chloe Mae Studio’s Co-Gallery Director alongside Abby Quillen.
